Serving Homebound Elderly New Yorkers since 1981
Providing A Lifeline Of Nourishment
City Meals on Wheels
Provides a continuous lifeline of nourishing meals and vital companionship to our homebound elderly neighbors. Since our founding in 1981, we've delivered over 70 million meals to older New Yorkers in need. We're committed to ending elder hunger in New York City by 2040.
Thousands of older New Yorkers would be alone and hungry without Citymeals and our dedicated volunteers. Last year, nearly 18,000 volunteers gave over 25,000 hours of their time to their older neighbors.
Who can volunteer with Citymeals?
