Dr. Richard Means, Jr., is a native New Yorker, a well-trained, prepared

theologian, and minister. He holds an undergraduate degree from

Southern Adventist University, a Master of Divinity degree from

Andrews University Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry

degree in strategic leadership from Claremont University.

He began his pastoral ministry in the great northwest of Canada, in the

Alberta Conference, where he was ordained to the gospel ministry.

His passion for evangelism and membership retention was recognized,

and he received a call to return home and pastor in the Northeastern

Conference. To date, he has pastored four congregations, most recently

Mount Sinai Seventh-day Adventist Church in Queens, New York. He

has been serving as the Senior Pastor of Kingsboro Temple as of January

2026, where his journey began.
